Working directly with our clients, and often supporting the architectural and interiors studios, HOK's Consulting Practice helps clients optimize their real estate portfolios and transform their workplace to support business drivers. Our consulting services include facilities strategy, workplace strategy, change management and WELL strategies. As a Consultant, you will contribute to all of our service areas.


  • Solve complex problems related to human interaction and well-being building functionality, workplace performance and organizational adoption of change

  • Participate in user engagement research activities, assist in client and stakeholder engagement through multiple forums such as meetings, presentations, workshops interviews, surveys, and focus groups

  • Assist in the development of project objectives and critical success factors

  • Complete quantitative and qualitative analysis and translate findings into client-specific recommendations and innovative strategies that address culture, business, and workforce issues


Required Skills

  • Strategically-minded with the desire and capability to tackle large, complex problems and distill them down to their essence

  • Proficiency in in BIM/Revit (or AutoCAD) and Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop), and PowerPoint

  • Strong data driven analysis and Excel spreadsheet capabilities are essential

  • Demonstrated verbal, written and graphic communication skills - able to convey complex ideas and messages in simple and clear way

  • Ability to manage workload and produce deliverables independently


Required Experience

  • Bachelor or Graduate degree and 3 to 5 years of experience in research, strategic workplace, business planning, architecture, interior design and/or real estate analysis

  • Experience with strategic master planning and facility analysis is a plus (but not required)
