Job Description

We are currently seeking a part-time temporary Data Manager to work at our client site in Boston for a 30 day period. To perform in this position successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Ensures management of data in/out of the system and understands the need for data accuracy and tracking of exceptions within the Database.
  • Works to ensure that data integrity is reconciled with other systems used by client.
  • Undertakes data audits, including exception reporting and fixing errors.
  • Produces reports as required to support planning including monthly data snapshots with some guidance.
  • Assists the Sr. Data Manager with development of processes and guidelines as they relate to the CAFM/IWMS system.
  • Responsible for the training of CAFM/IWMS users which includes presenting and explaining the impact of CAFM/IWMS functions and how they relate to the user’s job responsibilities.
  • Maintains working relationship with client Real Estate personnel and Partners as it relates to the CAFM/IWMS program.
  • Assist with learning sessions as they relate to system functionality.
  • May attend CAFM/IWMS Vendor conferences and User Groups as required.
  • Know, and understand, OSS marketing strategies and have the ability to communicate services in an informative manner.

Required Skills

SKILLS & COMPETENCIES:

  • Ability to learn software reporting tools.
  • Intermediate computer skills in computer software applications such as Access, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Graphics.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills required.
  • Ability to produce deliverables with some guidance.
  • Ability to develop user documentation with some guidance.
  • Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Clear understanding of the link between the CAFM/IWMS system and the use of its information.
  • Good graphic presentation skills including PowerPoint.
  • Knowledge and ability to use analytical and problem solving techniques.
Required Experience

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Architecture/AutoCAD, or related field such as Real estate, interiors or planning.
  • 2-3 years’ experience in working with any CAFM/IWMS systems in the real estate field.
  • Previous experience maintaining data in a CAFM/IWMS system.
