**Job Summary**

The Transportation Business Line of AECOM is actively seeking a highly motivated professional to join the travel demand modeling team as an Entry-Level Travel Demand Modeler. Position may be located in either our Tallahassee or Orlando, FL office. AECOM is pleased to include you in a unique development opportunity, the Graduate Development Program (GDP). This program is designed to support your assimilation into the organization and assist with creating a foundation of knowledge for a successful career at AECOM. The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:



+ Assist with the modeling development and application work in Florida

+ Perform data collection and analysis related to highway and transit surveys

+ Generate tables and maps for clients

+ Participate in FDOT’s user group for modeling



**Minimum Requirements**



+ Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Planning or related field

+ Knowledge of Travel demand model development, programming, Statistics and GIS

+ Working knowledge with Cube and GIS software

+ Must possess a valid driver's license



**Preferred Qualifications**



+ Master’s degree in Civil Engineering or Transportation Planning

+ Experience with FDOT travel demand modeling software

+ Experience with FTA New Starts modeling and the STOPS software

+ Experience with model estimation, calibration and statistical analysis

+ Ability to be registered as a PE in Florida (if holds engineering degree) or ability to be AICP (if holds planning degree)

+ Theoretical understanding of Activity-based Modeling and Dynamic Traffic Assignment
