Currently we are actively seeking a creative and highly talented **Hydraulics & Drainage** **Senior Assistant** for newly established GDS based in Warsaw.

Job Duties:

+ Assignments usually include one or more of the following: calculations, preparation of plans and specifications, report preparation, and other activities of limited scope requiring knowledge of principles and techniques commonly employed in a specific narrow area of assignments.

+ Drafting complex drawings in 2D and 3D (including BIM).

+ Preparation of drawings at each stage of the design process (Feasibility studies, Preliminary design, Approval Design, Detailed design)

+ Preparing geometric design of pipe networks

+ Conducting calculation checks.

+ Preparing Bill of Quantities.

+ Setting standards and procedures for CAD and BIM works to be undertaken by the Hydraulics & Drainage team.

+ Working on small projects or portions of larger projects, with work being reviewed by a senior or appropriately experienced engineer.

+ Assigning and coordinating tasks to other technical or administrative staff, mainly related to drafting and bridges and structures modeling.

+ May train less experienced staff in preparation of drawing and graphic elements.

+ Comply with statutory, project and AECOM-specific health and safety requirements.

Specific Skills:

+ Working knowledge on at least one of the following sub-disciplines: flood risk analysis; drainage design for linear infrastructures (culverts, channels, scour protection, etc.); water utilities (stormwater & wastewater/water supply / Irrigation, etc.); storage devices & pumping stations; etc.

+ Proven track record managing and/or coordinating **CAD/BIM teams** .

+ Proficiency in **CAD software: AutoCAD, Microstation.**

+ Proven experience working in **BIM (Revit, Civil3D, AECOsim** , etc.) will be considered favorably.

+ Proven commitment to Quality Control Policy and Quality Management System.

+ Fluent in English and Polish (oral and written).

+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office.

**Minimum Requirements**

+ 2-4 years in civil and infrastructure projects, working on bridges and structures design

+ Experience working in the North America region will be considered favorably

+ Working knowledge and understanding of the external environment that influences success

**Preferred Qualifications**

+ Bachelor or Master degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized University
