Description

INTERIOR ARCHITECT

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Under supervision of a licensed architect, responsible for initial design development through construction documentation for architectural, work space interiors, corporate and retail roll-out projects

  • Work from detailed sketches to produce computer generated graphs, charts, overlays and construction drawings

  • Conduct site visits and progress meetings

  • Review of submittals/cut sheets on materials, appliances, equipment and furnishings

  • Analyze sketches, notes, and other input material to determine best approaches for completion of drawings, space planning, and preparation of materials palette

  • Learn to coordinate drawings with MEP, structural, civil, electrical, mechanical, and telecommunication consultants to incorporate engineering systems into architectural designs and secure client approval on plans, elevations and materials palette;

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Architecture/Interior Design, with coursework or curricular internships

  • 4-8 Years Experience

  • Revit, AutoCAD, FormZ, Photoshop, Illustrator, Microsoft Office, 3DStudioMax, SketchUp, Adobe InDesign, and Adobe Acrobat

  • Hand rendering techniques and watercolor to communicate design concepts

Qualifications:

  • Excellent communications skills

  • Collaborative and team conscious
