**Job Summary**

We are seeking an individual who has a strong background in HVAC Design. The ideal candidate understands and has proven track record in design quality, project delivery, and has the ability to convey innovative design thinking and solutions.

The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to, those listed below:

+ Review of steam and other mechanical piping installations, central plant installation, and report writing

+ Participation in development of proposal response

+ Development of system narratives (writing, organizing the document, develop images)

+ Ability to concisely express complex system solutions in very early design phases in order to share intent either internally for further development, or externally to assist design partners

+ Revit/CAD design

+ Coordinate mechanical system design with electrical engineers, architects, and other design professionals

+ Review / Edit specifications

+ Interact and work with diverse set of clients and subcontractors

**Minimum Requirements**

+ Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering

+ 5+ years of mechanical engineering experience within a consulting or design-build firm

+ Licensed Professional Mechanical Engineer in HI

+ Documented experience with advanced design and diverse healthcare projects and clients

+ Experience with sustainable design

+ Experience with Design Build and other Alternative Delivery practices

+ Excellent communication skills: articulate, assertive and confident

+ Creative thinker with effective teamwork skills

+ Enjoy developing innovative solutions to challenging opportunities

+ Have a high degree of integrity, professional ethics, respect and responsibility

+ Bring energy and enthusiasm to the office

+ Ambitious and eager to grow

+ Eager to be part of an organization that is built to create a better world

+ Ability to analyze and provide solutions

+ Ability to work on multiple projects concurrently

+ Proven success in leading pursuits and managing long term clients

**Preferred Qualifications**

+ Healthcare and/or hospitality background
