**Position Title** Part Time First Operator / Facilities Engineer

**Job Summary**

AECOM is seeking an Engineer - First Operator / Part Time. Part time Operators work variable schedules including days evenings, weekends and holidays as available.

Primary responsibilities include:

+ Operate and maintain boilers, on scheduled rotational shifts

+ Operate and maintain boilers, incinerators and associated equipment

+ Make periodic tours of assigned equipment and systems within Compound, recording required data

+ Monitor water treatment program for Central Plant

+ Monitor and execute the Lock-out/Tag-out program

+ Report all faults, deficiencies, and unusual occurrences to the Chief Engineer

+ Respond to emergency situations on assigned equipment, performing all tasks necessary for the protection of property and personnel

+ Assume all responsibilities and duties of Second Operator as required

+ Assume all responsibilities of HVAC Grade I as assigned by Chief Engineer on maintenance days

+ Direct Second Operator when authorized by Chief Engineer

+ Perform other job related work as required

+ Monitor and operate assigned control systems

**Minimum Requirements**

+ Active Top Secret SCI Clearance and willingness to be submitted for a high level government clearances to include a government polygraph.

+ Four years experience in commercial/industrial operations

+ High School Diploma or GED

+ Must possess Class I stationery engineer License, DC 3rd steam boiler engineer license or equivalent

+ Must possess universal CFC certification

+ Able to read and interpret blueprints

+ Working knowledge of piping systems

+ Ability to comprehend written and oral instructions

**Preferred Qualifications**

+ Active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph

+ Working knowledge of HVAC systems

+ Ability to write correspondence

+ Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization

+ Have basic computer skills

+ Formalized training in stationery engineering or related crafts
