Project Architect

Description

Our Singapore office is currently looking to hire a Project Architect

As a Project Architect, you will manages, organizes and coordinates project teams and team assignments to complete Interior projects. You will be responsible for ensuring that production of construction documents are in concert with design intent aside to being responsible for project schedules and budgets. You envision that you are able to resolves complex technical/design issues, provides guidance to the team and coordinates activity and communication between project team and other disciplines. 

To perform this job successfully, you should possesses full knowledge of interior /architectural principles / practices. You must be a self-starter with the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, high energy, rapidly growing multi-national organization. Besides strong communication & presentation skills, you must be proficient with the various design tools and software. Other qualities such as ownership, details oriented, the ability to exercise good judgment and discretion in handling a wide variety of activities, while maintaining a realistic balance among multiple priorities simultaneously are also essential for this role.

 

The Project Architect will be responsible for:

  • Organizing and managing project teams and team assignments

  • Coordination with designers, design manger, consultants, contractor and client during all phases to ensure production of contract documents are aligned with design intent

  • Full coordination between teams and projects

  • Managing project timelines and schedules

  • Resolution of complex technical and design issues as they arise

The ideal candidate must meet the following qualifications to be considered:

  • At least 3 years relevant professional experience.

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited school of design

  • Knowledge of building codes, standards and structures

  • Excellent communication skills in English, and the ability to work well with a team

  • Computer skills should include AutoCad, Illustrator, Photoshop, SketchUp. 3DMax and Revit is a plus.

  • Strong leadership abilities and the ability to manage teams and projects

  • Strong organizational skills
