As a result of a growing client base and increasing workflow, Gensler’s Atlanta location is currently seeking a Project Architect.  The ideal candidate should have with extensive experience delivering large scale Corporate Interiors Projects.  
 
Responsibilities:
• Direct and provide leadership for design teams.  
• Lead the team, manage the entire design and delivery process to effectively implement design intent & ensure technical quality
• Ability to ideate quickly and lead a team through the ideation process utilizing computational design tools. 
• Resolves complex technical/design issues and provides guidance and mentorship to team throughout the entire course of a project 
• Assist in managing client expectations, team communication and consultant coordination
• Responsible for project schedules and budgets in conjunction with Project Manager & Design Director
• Leverage oneself beyond project-based focus to address greater office and regional issues.  
• Continually improve the quality of our work, the manner in which we deliver it and the process we employ to attain it.  
• Build, nurture and foster new relationships with a broad client base. 
• Work closely with Studio, Office and Regional Technical Directors across the firm to promote an inter-disciplinary design approach and philosophy and facilitate its advancement in respective offices and across the firm. 
• Be an integral part in the growth and success of the Workplace Practice Area.  
• Effectively communicate and implement the key strategic initiatives and become an influential “Voice” of technical project delivery 
 
Requirements:
• Licensed Architect 
• 10+ years of related experience, with a strong background in corporate interiors 
• Outstanding graphic presentation skills
• Computer skills:  Strong Revit user and knowledge of Adobe Suites, SketchUp and/or 3-D Studio Max
• Flexibility to focus on a large client account with a variety of project types -or- multiple, concurrent projects in various stages of development
• Ability to work with a large project team, across multiple offices
• Ability to work well in a team environment and communicate design ideas and direction quickly
• Strong leadership, organization, communication and relationship management skills
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong leadership, communication and relationship-management skills
• LEED accreditation
• Excellent written + verbal communication and management skills to include leadership, organization and client relationship management skills
• Collaborative and team-conscious 
• Ability to handle difficult situations with tact, grace and style
• Must have the ability to maintain existing client relationships and build new client relationships
