**Job Summary**

Employee will be part of the Flex Pool and will be required to support TDY deployments to various CONUS/OCONUS locations as required. Oversees and coordinates the work effort of assigned subordinate maintenance personnel in support of the unit’s daily RPA maintenance operations. Supervises employees who manage and maintain a supply and logistics sustainment program. Develops long range plans and establishes production schedules to meet customer requirements.

Oversees employees who track all flight discrepancy reports leaving the facility and their return; ensures parts due in from maintenance are tracked; and takes appropriate actions to meet applicable goals. Accounts for all materials being shipped out of, and received at, the facility. Keeps a running inventory of stock using appropriate software. Directs employees to research and order parts, materials, and tools for use. Keeps track of government property entering and leaving the facility. Processes paperwork, including filing DD-1149s. Ensures proper allotment of material to appropriate personnel. Logs government property and maintains records with appropriate identifying tags.

USAF equivalent position is Supply Technician Superintendent. Position reports to the Supervisor.

Essential Responsibilities:

+ Oversees a variety of warehousing duties, which require an understanding of the establishment's storage plan.

+ Verifies materials (or merchandise) against receiving documents, noting and reporting discrepancies and obvious damages.

+ Directs the Routing of materials to their prescribed storage locations.

+ May operate hand or power trucks in performing warehousing duties.

+ Performs miscellaneous quality assurance duties including inspections, inventory process checks, inspecting and examining materials, article inspections, etc.

+ Responsible for inventory management of decentralized and decontrolled items, including supplies and equipment.

+ Performs all other position related duties as assigned or requested.

**Minimum Requirements**

+ Must have Associate’s degree, or have completed relevant military and/or vocational technical school curriculum

+ Minimum of eight-plus years actual and recent aircraft supply support and logistics experience required

+ Must have working knowledge of basic and complex maintenance and repair

+ Must have the ability to build a team, maintain schedules, and monitor training certifications

+ Must possess thorough knowledge of governing supply systems/programs, policies, nomenclature, work methods, manuals, or other established guidelines

+ Must have the analytical ability to define problems, collect necessary data, establish facts, and take recommended actions based upon applicable established guidelines

+ Must be familiar with computerized databases and spreadsheets, and computerized inventory management programs

+ Must have experience with material handling equipment

+ Must possess a valid driver’s license and be able to obtain a government driving permit

+ Must have excellent planning and organizational skills

+ Must be able to work under deadlines

+ Employee must meet all OCONUS Deployment criteria, to include pre-deployment medical screening as a condition of employment

+ This is a non-traditional position that will support a flexible work schedule

+ Must be eligible to gain and maintain a DOD security clearance commensurate with the assigned duties

+ Employee must meet all overseas/OCONUS travel criteria, to include Pre-deployment medical screening (if req) as a condition of employment

+ Must be able to speak, read, write and understand English, and must be able to provide proof of US Citizenship upon hire

+ DoD Top Secret Security Clearance eligibility is required

+ Must submit updated SF-86 within 30 days of hire start date

+ Must be able to gain/maintain the required security clearance level and special access authorization as a condition of continued employment.

**Preferred Qualifications**

Current DoD Security Clearance

Application of technical knowledge of aircraft principles in determining malfunctions and skill application in restoring equipment systems and operations

Bachelor’s degree in a relevant career field

Minimum of eight years actual and recent experience in operations of the USAF base supply system

RPA operations & deployment experience

Prior experience as a Defense Contractor

Prior experience in RPA maintenance and repair

Vehicle Operator Training
