**Job Summary**

Position Description: AECOM is seeking an Airborne Electronic Attack Software Developer in support of NAVAIR efforts in Point Mugu, CA. The candidate should have in-depth working knowledge of full software life-cycle to include requirements analysis, software design, development, implementation, test and documentation. Ability to learn new programming languages and design architectures. Specifically, a proficiency in C#, Java and C/C++. Experience in conducting technology assessments, and generating and presenting the resultant technical reports. Ability to organize project tasks to meet project schedules

Duties include:

- Conduct software engineering tasks for assigned Statement of Requirements (SOR) for System Configuration Sets (SCS) H14 and H16.

- Conduct software engineering tasks for Foreign Military Sales (FMS) Australian F18E/F and EA-18G.

- Integrate and test the software code on different Joint Mission Planning System (JMPS) frameworks using different Windows Operation Systems.

- Interface with external organizations (Boeing, PMA-242, Advanced Weapons Laboratory (AWL), PMA-281) for software exchanges for integration and test.

- Generate software use cases, software design packages, and unit-level test procedures for assigned SORs.

- Coordinate with Software Configuration Managers to ensure software changes are documented and checked-in using Baseline Update Requests (BURs).

- Troubleshoot software integration issues and software defects found by the test team or encountered by flight test personnel.

**Minimum Requirements**

Minimum Requirements (including education): Bachelor degree in Electrical / Electronic Engineering, or Computer Science. At least 7 years of job related experience or equivalent.

U.S. Citizenship required and ability and obtain and maintain a SECRET Security Clearance.

Great communication and customer service skills. Ability to multi-task& support multiple priorities. Strong Analytical and Problem Solving Skills. Excellent teamwork and interpersonal skills. Strong technical skills including understanding of software development principles. Hands-on experience through coursework or experience. Ability to quickly adapt to a changing environment and learn new concepts and software is necessary. Candidate should be a self-motivated, independent, detail oriented, responsible team-player.
